Guqin is a virtual instrument based on the traditional Chinese seven-string zither, an instrument with a history of more than 3000 years and closely associated with Chinese scholars and classical music traditions.
Powered by Sound Magic’s hybrid modeling technology and a multi-GB sample library, Guqin aims to capture the subtle slides, harmonics and expressive playing techniques of the original instrument.
