iCloud Drive, DrumComputer and Managing User Presets

I am working with a programmer who is developing Presets/patterns on Windows. I am using them on an iPad. Right now he is uploading them onto Google Drive and then I'm downloading them onto my iPad and importing them into DrumComputer using the Import function in the User folder under Presets. I have iCloud sync on. Can I share out the iCloud folder and give him access and avoid steps? Ideally he'd just upload to the iCloud folder that is synced to DrumComputer. I did try to upload some files directly into iCloud on my PC (just locally without explicity sharing the folder to anyone else) and it didn't allow me.If you have done this before, it would be valuable to have any tips on making this workflow work.
