In the test version of Ample Guitar LP (not activated) I can get auto slide (overlapping notes) to work if I place a key switch (which is D#1, not D#0 as in the manual) before each and every overlapping notes (single not melody). Also it works if I push the slide in/out button, but for only the first few notes. I have Auto Legato Mode on. What I want is for Auto Slide to be on for the whole track, and not have to use key switches throughout the piece. When notes overlap I want them to slide. They are either 1 half step or 2 half steps and on the same string.
What do I need to do to get Auto Slide working on the whole track without have to use key switches?
Thanks.
Can't get auto slide to work

There are 3 auto legato mode: No Legato, Auto HP, Auto Slide, if you are manually editing midi notes in a DAW, you can get the Auto Slide for your whole track without keyswitches if the auto legato mode is correctly set, but you have to use string assignment keyswitches for each note to make Auto Slide happens, if two overlaping notes are triggered from different string, Auto Slide won't be working.rgp1942 wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:49 pm In the test version of Ample Guitar LP (not activated) I can get auto slide (overlapping notes) to work if I place a key switch (which is D#1, not D#0 as in the manual) before each and every overlapping notes (single not melody). I would suggest you to use our Riffer 4 to avoid these manually editings.
