Im just a little lost on what they each do. Like for example whats the difference of 100 sensitivity and 48 range vs 50 sensitivity and 24 range? Would that be the same difference in sound in terms of increasing the highs and decreasing the lows?
Also what about 50 sensitivity and 24 range vs 50 sensitivity and 48 range?
Any help would be awesome thank you. Im just trying to figure out which settings to change when decreasing the high sounds and increasing the low sounds.
Hello can someone explain to me exactly what changing the sensitivity and range does on MAutoVolume?

I honestly don't know. I haven't used it in awhile, but the two controls produce a different sonic result. I would just go by ear, but the logic to me is that range is the maximum amount that can be applied whereas sensitivity probably has to do with how much the detection circuit is triggering the gain. They can have similar effects, like a low sensitivity can also be similar to low range, but in practice I remember them sounding a little different.
I would say to leave both at default, adjust one, save the preset, then start a new preset and adjust the other. Bounce back and forth until you have a similar gain reduction and listen for differences. From there, adjust the complementary knob in each and see where that takes you.
I looked through my presets, and I only have two and the settings are pretty different, so I couldn't tell you based on those either, I'm afraid.
