Text B ox Weirdness

Hi.
In MXXX, in Multi Parameter, if I add a parameter and try to name it, after I input the first letter, the plugin loses focus and the focus goes to Reaper. In MMicSim, when inputting text in the Mic Search Boxes, sometimes the GUI flashes and disappears. Sometimes it won't let me input some characters. For example, when I try to input "414", it won't let me input the "1". When I type "1" nothing happens. Basically, just random weirdness.
Anybody experiencing this?
