Is there a way to bring up only the quiet sounds on Mautovolume? Like instead of bringing up the quiets and bringing down the louds to the target level you bring up only the quiets?

I assume this is like one of those OTT-type things where under the threshold is pulled up and over is pushed down.

If so, you set the threshold to be under the "loud" stuff and be sure that the "push down over the threshold" things are set to zero. Then raise the under-make-LOUD settings.

Be aware tho that this can very easily make things sound really wrong. You will feel impressed, but the average listener will feel like an oversized spider is stalking them without being able to say why. Only that your song feels off - seeing you broke the laws of nature.

Have fun - but not too much
:-)

I was hoping a find a way to do it with MAutovolume because its the one that works best for me. OTT didnt work out with my other plugins that I like to use. Plus MAutovolume just has more features that help me a lot.

I see, typical Melda: looks all fancy-technical but nothing makes sense.

What I was describing was essentially khs Dynamics, which does its job.

The Q really has to be what is the real issue, and not the emotive thing you think, but "What does the listener need to feel?"
The reason this is important is because what one does can vary based on the real A to this Q and not the top-down thing many do when trying to be producery.
