Hi everyone, :D

Over the last few months I've been building a project called WavedStudio, a browser-based wavetable editor and visualisation tool. :tu:

The original motivation was pretty simple: I wanted a faster way to experiment with custom wavetables without constantly jumping between different software and workflows.

What started as a small side project gradually turned into a full wavetable design environment with:
  • Waveform drawing and editing
  • Frame-by-frame wavetable creation
  • Interpolation and morphing between frames
  • Real-time audio preview
  • 3D wavetable visualisation
  • Export for use in wavetable synths
:borg: :borg: :borg: :borg:
One thing the project has taught me is how much of a sound's character comes from subtle changes between frames rather than the complexity of the individual waveform itself.
:scared:
I've found myself spending hours creating simple shapes and then exploring how different interpolation methods affect the resulting timbre.
I'm posting here because I'd genuinely like feedback from people who spend a lot of time designing sounds.
:?: :phones:
A few questions:
  • What frustrates you most about existing wavetable creation workflows?
  • Do you create your own wavetables or mostly use factory content?
  • What features would make a wavetable editor genuinely useful to you?
  • Are there any export formats, synthesis methods, or workflows you'd like to see supported?
:help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

You can try the current version at wavedstudio dot online ...

Any feedback, criticism, feature requests, or bug reports would be massively appreciated.
   :hyper: :hyper:
Thanks!
