Hi all

Now that the download is fixed, it would be great to get user comments on the actual presets themselves. Guess I am opening this up to constructive critism, but that OK. It was still great to be able to work with such a fine set of Mini Moog samples.

Actually, I tried do do that in MiniHost and actually did it twice ( a long process) but whenever I tried saving the bank, minihost would crash on me. Maybe with my new system, I will try it again. But I know how you feel!!

really really great samples and patches, and the ease that eve brings to the procedings just makes it a life stealing combo

I am surpised that there isn't some way to manipulate the bnk file outside of EVE, such as a bnk editor. Of course being a Software QA person, I always ask for better tools from developers

Other than that, I notice that some patches are a bit loud and start distorting when I use them in minihost without turning down the EVE output gain and the individual sounds volumes. I am not at home at the moment, so I can't tell you which ones.

actually I think all of us would like a tool for bank minipulation. I usually do it with MiniHost, but had problems with EVE..don't know if its EVE or Minihost issue..guess I could also post on Toby's forum.

I will look into the loud issue. I think I had problems in general about keeping the volume down. There is an option in EVE to have the type of loudness you want.

ALSO: something I just found out.
When I was creating the patches, I wanted the mod wheel to do vibrato. The way to do this was to assign it to the mod amount for pitch via the MIDI learn function. I did it for osc 1 and 2. ( right click on Pitch amount and twiddle your mod wheel or knob on your UC-16 8) )

After my system crashed, I finally re-installed EVE. It did not retain the MIDI learn. I think that the MIDI learn function is on an indevidual basis..meaning users have to assign it themselves and then it will retain it everytime you boot eve and the patch bank. ( is this right Luigi?)

So..I advise those that have TheMiniMoog to do MIDI learn on the Pitch amount for Osc 1 and 2, so you will get Vibrato the way I meant it to be.You really need this to get the most out of the patches.

learned CC are stored in the Windows Registry,

so each user have to save his/her own map
