DR-008 & SlicyDrummer / FillinDrummer

Something of a newbie here (although not so new that I got Tracktion free )so please excuse if this is somewhat obvious, but do I understand correctly that Tracktion does not yet support the type of plugin (mfx ?) that Slicy and Fillin Drummer are?

I was toying with buying DR-008 and Slicy to make drum tracks. Are there any similar pattern generating tools that are supported in Tracktion ? (I tried GrooveAgent and found it a little limiting)

Slicy and Fill-in can both be run inside DR008, as DrumDeploy modules, so you could use them in Tracktion that way...

Well worth a try. DR-008 and Slicy/Fill-in makes for a killer combination.

I agree. I've used all three for some time now. You won't find a better combination. These are highly stable plugs, with so much power.

I concur! Oh yeah. This combination is very flexible. The only thing that is missing is the ability to directly program odd time signatures.

Yes I saw that mentioned somewhere else - is there any workaround or just make with the clicks in the piano roll ?

I have downloaded demos, as they are time limited I'll install them when I have a spare few hours (oh how I laughed when I typed that . . . )

Definitely give them a good try. If you only can buy only one of Slicy or Fillin. I would suggest Fillin as it does what is nearly impossible to emulate by pianoroll programming alone and I have spent many hours trying. You would need to play like Squids to get these kind of fills on a keyboard.
