Any of you old timers remember that Mackie upgrade offer? (from back when things were all but fields round here, eeh, must be about three months ago)
Where if you introduced five of your mates to Tracktion, you got Tracktion2 for free? And you'd get it very soon, even if it isn't quite finished yet, say at the latest sometime before next week? (there may be some creative licence being taken with this offer ...)
Well shiver me timbers, ever since Tracktion went NFR, I've had people jumping all over it. Most peeps I know in real life (outside of here that be) weren't that excited about trying the demo of a new sequencer, all very set in their ways. Tell them they can get it for free, and all of a sudden, hey ho, lets go (as the Ramones might say)
Six of my mates have now picked up an NFR licence now, and at least two of them are raving about it. It's all well and good playing the "I told you so ... now, I did tell you so, didn't I? Like I said, I told you ... mine's a Kronenburg" card, but as an impatient kid on a long journey, I want my Tracktion2 now! So how do we claim that "I introduced all my mates to Tracktion, now gimme Tracktion2" offer again?
