monitor problem with griffin imic

Similar to bobstory's "enable/disable" post concerning the podxt.

I have a powermac g4 dual 1 ghz. I am using a griffin imic as audio in through USB. In regards to bobstory's solution to monitor through headphone jack on podxt, I do not have a headphone jack or the like on imic that i can use simultaneously to mic out (right?). I have powered monitors through the computer headphone jack.

I cannot hear any play through when imic is selected in audio devices settings. All end-to-end settings are on. I have input and i can record but i have to switch back to "built-in audio" setting to hear anything.

HELP! I am still new...

please disregard - problem solved - plugged speakers into imic out - DUH!
