Tracktion Software

I was reading up on this plug-in (included with Tracktion), and it says that it's made to be used with a Mackie d8B card. I don't have one on my computer. Can I still use this plug-in to master my track?

If not, does anyone have a suggestion on an all-in-one plug-in I can buy (or shareware) for mastering and putting the final touch on my track.

the version that is bundled with Tracktion will run in Tracktion on any PC. There is no Mac version as yet, although one is in development.

Mac version in progress? Sweet- we usually get shafted. I wonder if it will be available as a free download for paid-up Tracktion users?

the pc version is just distributed as part of the full download, there is no reason to believe the mac version will be any different.

Mackie has never gone on record with an ETA for the Mac version.

Uh huh..and Mackie seem to have taken a similar amount of responibility when "soon" turned out to be never...or at least "not in the near future...or for several months therafter"

nonetheless hype from the lucky PC recipients seemed to die off even quickerr than the excitement apropos the Reason 3 announcement!

All I remember was people whining about it.

I for one think it's great, but when it came out, I said so... no reason to keep saying it every other week.

I only really got into it the last few weeks, as I've been mastering some of my stuff; apart from the small issue with presets, it really is a fantastic plug.. the ability to set up complex transfer curves for the compression is superb, and the layout seems very intuitive to me (given the complexity of the options)

You mac people should be making more of a fuss about this one IMO
