I've been having a problem as of late with rendering individual clips. They come out extremely loud and distorted. Initially I thought I had the volume on the vst synth cranked too loud but that wasn't the problem. I have been able to render a whole project without any problems. What I'm trying to do in this instance is export a wav clip for use in another tool. Anbody have/had this problem?

yep, in fact i had it for the first time five minutes ago, didn't know what to do about it either. So i just recorded it in my audio editor and saved it from there (not a good idea in fact cause the sound quality goes miles down).
I'd seriously appreciate someone telling me what's going on...

Okay guys, I found my problem. The convert resolution of my sound card was set to 24 bit while the Tracktion render option was set to 16 bit.
Changed Tracktion to render at 24-bit and now my rendered clip sounds fantastic!!
