I've been having a problem as of late with rendering individual clips. They come out extremely loud and distorted. Initially I thought I had the volume on the vst synth cranked too loud but that wasn't the problem. I have been able to render a whole project without any problems. What I'm trying to do in this instance is export a wav clip for use in another tool. Anbody have/had this problem?

Nope, haven't had the problem, though I've found that sub-bass frequencies are problematic for my renders. (anything below 20Hz)

Try doing it without normalizing and see what happens (if you're not already disabling it).

yep, in fact i had it for the first time five minutes ago, didn't know what to do about it either. So i just recorded it in my audio editor and saved it from there (not a good idea in fact cause the sound quality goes miles down).

I'd seriously appreciate someone telling me what's going on...

Okay guys, I found my problem. The convert resolution of my sound card was set to 24 bit while the Tracktion render option was set to 16 bit. :dog: Changed Tracktion to render at 24-bit and now my rendered clip sounds fantastic!! :D
