Woah. Render sounding different than mix playback

I've got the output gain set right, so it's peaking at 0db. It's losing high end, and overall clarity. Maybe some stereo imaging is missing too.

Anybody know what this might be?

I just went through a similar problem. I suspect that your soundcard/audio interface is set to a different bit conversion than Tracktion. In my case my c-port was set to 24 bit conversion and Tracktion was set to 16 bit conversion. I had terrible sound and the volume was way too loud after rendering.
