Just wondering how you guys personally set up dr008? Should I just simply load her up in a rack with 8 outs and go from there every instance?

Hey guys I just got dr008 as you all probably know by now

If you want to use multi-outs wrap it in a rack-filter and copy the rack to a different track for every dr output you want to use, then all you have to do is connect the correct output inside the rack for every track. (I think that is what you ment in your post but what the hell).
If you don't use multi outs just change the settings in dr to stereo and use dr as a regular filter.
Personally I compose with dr as stereo for project simplicity and when I want to mix I enable all used outputs and wrap the dr in a rack.
