I am having some kind of problem using SS2 in Cubase SX2. Basically, the problem comes when i use a combi patch (either the "factory" combi's or my own).
Saving the project in Cubase seems fine. But when I come back later and re-open the project, ALL OF THE COMBI'S ARE INCORRECT. I mean, it keeps the SS2 in the VST slot -- that's right. And it opens the different "elements" in their respective channels in SS2 -- that's right.
But what's definitely NOT right is that the "mix" of the elements is all wrong -- the volumes are ALL -- and i mean *ALL* -- defaulted to level "100".
SO that means I have to go back through and re-load every single combi or preset that I've used in the song... And what's such a drag is that it also "loses" the NAME of the combi -- so if I haven't written that down, then I'm basically screwed trying to figure out which combi that was that had the "nose picking sound" and the "octopus on crack" sound, or whatever...
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
If this has been discussed before, sorry -- but does anyone else have this issue?!?
THANKS, guys
(p.s.--SS2 has some very cool things going on, otherwise, by the way -- if you are "on the fence" then I tell you, BUY IT)...
