that's right.
coming from an occasionally doubting and impatient T fan....the details appearing on the Mackie site seem to slowly uncover a serious piece of software.

Very nice.

Indeed. It looks like a nice little package with great new features. Have we all seen the light yet?

The controller mapping alone is good enough for me thus far.

Bah, I was hoping that bithead would have made an appearance by now. After all, I marked his words.

Ron, you're a bit schizo. I understand that such medical conditions are largely beyond your control, so I can't fully blame you for it.

Moving along-- I anticipate at least 2 more "showstopper" features plus a few others, so the joy isn't over just yet. ;) If I had to choose 2 and only 2 more "major features", they would be: cycle/loop/whatever recording for audio, and audio clip merge.

Wow... I suddenly realized that there will be more than 2 more major features announced. ;)

are you sure theres more than 2 more? we dont know

No, unlike some folks, I can freely admit that I don't know. What I presented as "certainty" was obviously merely rhetoric and not fact.

However, we've yet to see a major audio improvement-- there's going to be SOMETHING, whether it's track folders, looped recording, or a more comprehensive set of audio editing tools.

Then there's the third-party and Acuma plug-ins that haven't been announced, which IS something that's on record. :D

So, to answer your question-- no, I'm not absolutely certain beyond the shadow of doubt. ;)

O, happy day! I am sincerely happy to have been wrong about more features being announced, and especially pleased to see controller mapping and improved editing. Mapping sounds really simple to use. I remain skeptical of whether MIDI editing will be truly compelling.

All the haterz in this thread (you know who you are) can kiss my lily-white US Grade A butt. Flame away--the ignorance, intolerance, and illiteracy that you demonstrate in subsequent posts shall be your own.

Seems to me that most of the hate in that thread came from you, bithead. Glad you're happy, though. No flames forthcoming from me, though your brief comments seemed to have some fire that you just couldn't help but add in, so a quick response with no counter-flame:

Illiterate? Moi? I hold a B.A. In English Letters, a B.Ed with concentration in English instruction, and devour both fiction and nonfiction at a ridiculous rate. <chuckle> Illiterate, indeed.

No hate here... I won't lie and say there's love, but there's no hate. ;)
