Just wondering what you all think (or hopefully know)why the mackie site is down?

well i think there site is down

it stoped there 4 me but i do have meny other links in my fav's collum to keep me intertained or i could just go make some music on T1

well say beno or someone mackie comes around, and didn't catch it in one of the threads, maybe they arent even aware their site is down... This is why.

I don't expect it's significant at all. I fully expect T2 to be released during NAMM, which is still over a week away.

Mackie have just been bought by Sony.

From immediate effect Tracktion is no longer available but the good news is that Acid 5 can be purchased fo a mere $299 for existing Tracktion customers.

Hope this clarifies the situation

Nooo, nooo, you've got it wrong! Mackie was just purchased by Roland. Tracktion has been discontinuted, but all licensed T1 owners will get a $80 discount on the purchase of any Fantom keyboard.

No, you're all wrong.

Mackie has been bought by RonC, who has replaced Jules as programmer, and Beno for support.

The product has now been rename OMFG_I_ROCK, and the final featurelist will be announced whenever the voices from under the bed stop shouting about covering his hovercraft in vaseline and waging war on the smurfs...
