MDA Stereo crackles in T ?

Hey,

I was toyign with MDA stereo and found it crackles in T, anyone know why it would do this?

It doesnt in audition when im mixing down... Maybe ill just save it for that

Mmmmh...

I was using Iblit and tubebaby and mda stereo. Used it on the track and when i disabled mda stereo, no crackles.

I sometimes get that with certain plugins, though I've never noticed it with the MDA ones. I just increase the latency, that usually does it. If you want to keep the latency low, increase it, restart, freeze the track and take it down again.

well im on an echo mia. It seems just like with that one mda stereo that it did that

Have you got a midi input enabled on the same track? I've found that certain plugins cause that crackling in Tracktion, when used with a regular midi input (ie. non-firewire or USB).

I was having trouble with Reaktor -- specifically with instruments that had a delay effect. What I finally figured out was that having a midi-based input enabled on the track caused crackling. If I recorded some playing in the track, disabled the midi input, then played it back, the crackling was gone. I recently solved this by plugging my Roland keyboard (the midi culprit) into my BCR2000 (which is USB), and thereby "wrapping" the midi input in USB. I believe this is a Tracktion issue, but I like the program enough not to care.

For the record, I use a Asus a7n8x mobo, with WinXP, and have seen this issue with my Audiophile USB, and with my Audiophile 2496.
