I am loading into sfz sampler an sf2 file that contains more than one program. When I play midi track sfz plays the first program regardless of which program I select. This seems to occur on any midi except drums on channel 10. Any idea why this happens?

Are you selecting the patches via the sfz gui?

If so, you may have program changes in the MIDI parts which are over-riding your choices.

Try selecting a MIDI clip, and click "insert program change -> remove all program change messages from this clip"

Now see if that clip will play a different patch..

Yes, I'm using the sfz gui. I used the "remove all program change messages from this clip" and everything ok now.

Thanks very much!!
