You can do this already in Tracktion..
Just pick a key (say F10, as that's unassigned by default) and map it to "delete the selected clips and their source audio files".

subject,
I have to ask - since I've read many posts from you....
Does it take longer for you to intentionally use alternate spellings for common words? eg. 4=for, wen=when, wot=what, u=you, etc.
I'm just curious. You are very consistent with it and for that it appears that it might be natural for you to do this. For me, it would take quite a bit of concentration to always type a '2' when substituting for 'to', 'too' or 'two'; well the last one wouldn't be too hard.
I will say that it takes me a bit longer than usual to interpret what it is you are trying to say or ask.

i doubt it, i always talk this way on aim and seems natural. i think of forums as slightly more formal than aim or a chat room though so i don't use abbr. on here...rockstar_not wrote:subject,

By the way, this seemed as good a place as any to mention, that T2 has a totally reworked keyboard shortcut interface. It's more standard and more flexible. You get a list of all the commands on the left and you can map up to three different key combinations to each command. Much clearer and easier to find the shortcut your after. In addition, there are many new shortcuts added to T2. And you can save them and trade them with other as well. These are just some of the many features that didn't make it on to the teaser list.

A bit of gusset by all means, even a bit of Billy Connellys beard. (Apologies to Roger Melly)
