I see a lot of reference to the plug-ins that are included in T2 but I can find where it lists them.
Any pointers?
Cheers

There's no *official* list at the moment as I believe things are still being worked out with the plugin devs.muz wrote:I see a lot of reference to the plug-ins that are included in T2 but I can find where it lists them.

There is a list on Mackies site though giving details of some of the plugins likely to be included (subject to change of course!) :-

Go to the bottom.

Me too, the only plug I would have been interested in is RMIV - but I already own it. Indeed, if there is a minimal install option (so I don't have to fill up my HD with stuff I won't use) I'd rather have that!AD80 wrote:I seriously hope thats not whats holding up T2. Hey,
There is one plugin there that hasn't really garnered much attention here that now that I've looked at it, it's re-energized my interest in T2:
Bismark BS-1 soundfont player.
http://homepage.mac.com/bismark/bs-1/index.html
See, I came into T2 from a lower priced (yes you read that correctly) sequencer, PG Music's PowerTracks Pro Audio.
To me, the world of soft synths did not exist until about a year ago. I relied on external hardware, and the soundfont synth built into my Creative card.
I've probably 1GB of soundfonts, about 100MB of which are really really useful.
I've been using sfz as an sf player, but it has some issues with needing a rather large block of clear RAM to load up sf's.
What I like about sfz over other sf players, is that is all that it does - play the sf as it was intended.
There are several other sf players that jack out the programmed in amplitude envelopes, filter settings, etc, and expect you to twiddle with those. I don't want to bother with that. I like using the Warren Trachtman sampled Steinway piano sf for example - nice velocity layering and free. Most sf players can't use the layers.
So, does anyone have experience with this BS-1 sf plugin?

I've been using BS-16 every day for about two years, to provide a basic GM soundset, and it hasn't crashed once. It's also very cpu-light, and the sound quality is perfectly acceptable. If you load up a soundfont you are used to hearing on somehing else (eg: a SBLive card) it will probably sound a bit different, but I think that probably applies to any two samplers trying to interpret the same file..rockstar_not wrote:So, does anyone have experience with this BS-1 sf plugin?
AFAIK the only difference is that BS-1 is not multitimbral..?

I tried it a long time ago in OS X (not with Tracktion though, Metro I think) and I remember it being unstable. I did only use the demo, and I'm sure it could have improved since then.
