Templates in T2?

So as far as I understand, there is no template loading implementation within Tracktion. I've seen some work-arounds but those seem to cause more problems than solutions.

Anyone suppose that templates will be supported in Tracktion 2? I'm setting up my UC-33e to play nicely with all my VSTi's and would love to have the first four presets cover volume and panning on each individual track within Tracktion since they're rather easy to pull up and would be very nice for final mixing and the sort. I know I'll be able to assign them manually as I go along in a new project (with MIDI-controller implementation in T2) but I was just wondering anyone heard about templates.since it would save a lot of time if I could just load one up by default.
