It will not be developed any further due to the new Tackybrowser!

The shortcut on my taskbar is for Tackywrapper, so it's actually more trouble for me to start T on it's own. And when minimized, it takes almost no space at all. If only there was a way to stop preview.Todd24 wrote:I like the browser.
I never remembered to open, using the wrapper. Plus it takes space I dont have.
The wrapper is dead, long live the Browser!

The main reason I killed the wrapper is because drag n' drop to VSTs was a total PITA... and sample preview was wonky because of audio driver conflicts (unless you opted for directsound in tracktion, or had two soundcards). Not everyone, but a lot of ppl had preview problems with the wrapper.. but there was nothing I could do to fix it.
Ultimately, the browser is a bit more practical as drag n drop is easy, and sample preview now works cos it simply uses the host. I could make the buttons text labels and what not, but I was trying to make it kinda small (and artsy).. cos I have limtied screen space on the laptop.
me thinks... the wrapper is dead...

That's too bad. It was(is) an extremely clever piece of code, very usefull and well integrated in the GUI. Tackybrowser is ok, but the wrapper fit my way of working and thinking better.
Oh well, maybe in T2? Or if not, maybe if we bother Jules long enough...

Yay !!
I do have problems with the preview in the browser but not the wrapper...so go figure...
The Wrapper was more like a part of the program. A small file explorer which made sense.
Oh well...
Good things come in small packages right?

I think that you can almost see a Wrapper on the screen shot on the makie site. I wouldnt be surprised if it is built into T2.
And, Ezy...I dont like you either
Well on second look...thats just the output section.
Maybe not.

ModuLR, I want to thank you for all the great add-on you've been making and also for making them available for free. This stuff is so well designed that I tend to forget that it's not part of T but add-on modules, until, like now, I stop and think about it and see how often I use them (Tackywrapper, senderella and stepchild I use constantely and I started playing with cc rider).
And Todd, you know I was joking, right?
