Hi,
after each recording, Tracktion stops for 20 seconds and an "autosaving" banner pops up above the save button,
which is pretty annoying.
In my prefs "Autosave" is disabled.
Does somebody know what's going on there ?
Thanks, Tom

It does auto save after recording no matter what the setting because it needs to remember that it wrote new files. But how many tracks and how long were these record passes? 20 seconds seems like a very long time.

I played around with it a bit and removed all audio tracks, midi tracks, fx etc just to do a recording in an empty project and it still took 20 seconds. I opened a new project and everything is ok.
The other project seems to be screwed up. Did anybody had a similar problem ?
I hate corrupted project files !!!
Would not like to have this in a larger project, allthough I spent already 4 days in this one and now I have to compile it into a new project track by track.

what plugins are you using?
some, like the Muon DS404 and SR202, store their samples in the edit file, which for large banks will greatly increase load/save times.

export a trackarc & open that to see if it still has the 20sec auto save problemMrTom wrote:Did anybody had a similar problem ?
