It does not look to me like it has been implemented yet.
I might look through all the banks to see which ones use the Random function

it is a cool idea!, <grin>Reqs wrote:I noticed that the Zvon banks purport to use the function.
Obviously this is not something anyone cares too much about. Seemed like pretty cool idea to me.
and I wrote this in the manual:
Samples with the same MIDI velocity “threshold” will be played by the DK+ randomly. This feature allows you to mix velocity selection with random selection of layers for maximum flexibility.
Moreover, DK+ offers a weighted random choice of the samples. To activate this option switch on the Random button. With this feature turned on the numeric values at the right on the sample slots act as weight for the sample probability to be played, so each pad can store and play up to ten samples and you can choose which ones will be played more often and which ones less often, by setting the weight value for each sample.
""
please suggest me how to make it clearer

Yes, I read that in the manual, and that is the part I'm confused about. Where are these numeric values that are supposed to be to the right of the sample slots? I don't see them...With this feature turned on the numeric values at the right on the sample slots act as weight for the sample probability to be played

oops, we changed the GUI after, so it's left, not right, sorry, <grin>Reqs wrote:Yes, I read that in the manual, and that is the part I'm confused about. the same boxes of the velocity values,
those numbers mean "velocity level" when "Random" is off,
but mean "weight" when "Random" is on,

It's a very cool, important and very useful feature. I used the 2 types in my kits: 1- Same sound with random velocity levels, 2- Different sounds on the same pad.Reqs wrote:I noticed that the Zvon banks purport to use the function.

It is also very easy to use.
