In Tracktion 2 will the aux sends and returns be able to send and recieve from the inputs and outputs, so we could use outboard effects?

You mean just as a way of visually making it look neater? You can already use outboard effects since there has to be a hardware loop involved.
Actually... I guess there COULD be better functionality than what's already provided...
Admittedly, I'm just going by thinking, not by doing as I don't use any.

The sends can easily be routed to a hardware output but returns but the return from a hardware effect would still need to be attached to a normal track input. So this can be used for headphone mixes or for external effects. But it is no different then say using a rack send and it isn't as simplified as some of the other DAWs that have the external inserts.

Currently it doesn't. But I think that is a great idea (someone else said it previously, or was it you?) and I personally hope we can add it for a future release.aldi wrote:and will the auxsend have a slider on the icon like the volumefader ?

So if i sent a signal out and brought it back in through an input how would i then mix the 'return' level? becuase i have it setup so when im recording there is no output from tracktion of whats be recorded.

OK, then aldi gets the credit. We'll call it the aldi assignable parameter feature.
But seriously, we have seen it. And I did add it our internal list when I saw it the first time. I just couldn't remember who thought of it. I guess I can't take credit anymore.
