Best plugin for the 'Telephone EQ' effect?

That should be simple. Just use a convolution processor with a telephone impulse response.

You can make this effect with any EQ. The basic idea behind it is to roll off the highs and lows and leave the range around 1-2kHz boosted. Then just tweak from there.

If you got Computermusic mag there was the SpinEQ for free (you just had to register), which had a preset too.
And, err, - what for examples radiostations in Germany call cool today is being diszszszszszszed six hours later, so that couldn't well be something for us - philosophers
