Just got the new issue of TapeOp yesterday. On the inside cover is a two-page Mackie Spread with the headline "Weapons of Mass Production." It's a send up of a spy-movie dossier with type-written notes, polaroids, and 'code names.' T2 screens can be seen in three of the photos (the same old screenshot we've seen in other ads).

Then a couple of pages later is the same "If Your Music Sucks..." ad that was posted here last week. The ad still instructs people to go to Mackie.com to download a demo!?!

BTW: If any of you don't already subscribe to TapeOp, get yr butts over to tapeop.com and sign up for a free subscription.

Rather appropriate, given the lack of evidence... :D

... if you live in US/Canada.. Otherwise it's $55.

I also got the Tape-Op Magazine a couple days ago. Same ads that have been everywhere else. It seems they've really put the word out. I got the new MIX magazine today, but haven't looked through it yet. I'm assuming there will be an ad there also, although to me it seems that there are more hardware ads in MIX magazine.

With all these ads, it really can't be too long. Otherwise, it would be a waste of ad dollars to get this interest up and have nothing to try out. I'm really hoping that Monday is the magic day.

Anyone got Hans Blix's phone number?
...and so it goes (Kurt Vonnegut)

AAAAAGH!! Where is my Tape-Op? I usually read it cover to cover the day I get it then I am wishing for the next issue within a week.

Me too. This issue looks really great, including an article on Mouse On Mars.

Actually, ONLY if you live in the US. We Canucks are also required to pay ... $45 US for six issues.

Humble apologies. I know how touchy that border can be sometimes.

Electronic Musician has the new T2 ads also, with the 4 page foldout.

How would we ever know? Although I sure hope you are right.
It gets worse actually, after seeing the fold out ad in electronic magaine.....it's almost unbearable not to have it. 9 months, teases, hoaxes, no real release date, it's almost april, ........

I wish I could forget about it.......but I can't.
