I hate having a logical brain.......I keep thinking........"wouldn't it be logical to have had mackie/raw material/whoeverisrunningthatthing give us some concrete times, prices, etc.?"
Guess not

No, I won't stop writing negative posts until someone anti's up and gives the scoop. If someone would have just kept in touch with the customers, there wouldn't be all these hoax/bash/whatif/speculation threads.

That's a fact.

OK, then let me again reiterate. We will anounce everything at once. This includes the release date, pricing, upgrade paths etc. We obviously missed the early March deadline for various reasons but we are indeed close.

I agree. Pretty much every other major player in the sequencer arena gives upgrade pricings around the time of the announcements. The whole saga has dragged on for too long (kinda like the 'drag the feature announcements out over a month' thing they did).

I vote that they release it unfinished. There are soooooo many people that love cubase for that very reason.

Over half of all software decisions are made by people in the first two weeks of release. I would take months, or years even, to correct a bad release.

They can't set a date too early, or other companies will time releases of their products to dilute the sales of other companies.

If the program is in a state of review, then it's usually close to release.

With so many people (like me) who are fed up with the buggy releases by cakewalk and cubase-or not trusting enough of unfinished apps like energyXT, tracktion has a chance to make a huge impact in the market.

Patience, Grasshopper, patience.

Try not to be more of an arse than you already are. Its less than a month so far. Compared to some other missed release dates out there, thats absolutely bloody nothing. And you know its just around the bloody corner yet you're still whining.

Jesus, Tracktion users must include the most childish and petulent bunch of whingers on the sodding planet.

YES, I'm a Bitch and I CAN'T help that... Ableton (Live) has PUBLIC beta testing You know - just to "iron out" all the bugs introduced by major releases... Does not hurt, does it...

So? Even more companies have closed betas. But T2 is obviously past the beta stage. Its being reviewed. Its being advertised. And people here have got pre-release copies.

Missing an estimated release deadline by a month isnt the end of the sodding world. Just be grateful they gave you a ballpark figure.

there are resons for and agains public betas. main reason against it seems to be, that other companies can see inovative features. main reason for public betas are many users can find bugs and as proofed many times before, even with many not public beta testers software has bugs at releasetime !! so, go public with betas (thats my vote). and no whining about releasedates ;)

"Just be grateful they gave you a ballpark figure" - You can't be serious... I guess You are the kind of the person that when shot in a head - apologizes to be in a path of the bullet...
