comments on T2

first of all, anyone who thinks Tracktion needs an interface tweak is insane. It's easily the best creative flow seq/audio app made right now.


Things I like:

1. color schemes
2. controller mapping
3. new 64 bit recording
4. midi editing improvement
5. video improvement


However, I have to say I am probably not going to upgrade to T2 at this time. T1 does everything I need it to. I think Mackie would have been better off making T2 more expensive, while keeping T1 in the 80$ range, making both for sale at the same time.

I was hoping T2 would include good timestretching /beat synching like Acid, clip automation and higher quality plugins. I would of glady payed 275$ to 300$ for that.

So as it stands now, T2 is really sweet, and T1 still is a great ap. However, T2 is not enough of a bump in features and plugs to get me to move from T1.

...ouch, increase the price of T2! I need the MTC. That makes (or breaks) T2, and is worth theupgrade price!
