FR: Clear All and Retain Patterns

It would be great if there was a way to clear all patterns at once. At present if I call up a kit and then make the call up some preset patterns, I have to manually go in and clear the patterns if I decide I don't want to use them. Either that or I have to remove the VST and start over. This could be as simple as have an empty preset in the patterns drop down (or is it a drop up?)

It would also be really nice if while editing a pattern I could switch whole kits to try out new sounds on my pattern. Presently if I am working on a pattern I cannot switch kits without losing the pattern. I know that I can save the pattern and then reimport it but that is a pain.
