The volume meter is post insert. Now i have Final mix inserted in the master section. Compression and eq on... the output meters of the final mix plugin are not clipping. There is a little limiting happening (a little more actually ). The level meters of the master fader, however show clipping. The master fader is at unity. Im a little confused..
whats not working right ? the Final mix meters or the tracktions ??

I'd guess final mix, do the master level meters show a value greater than 0? or just "+0.00"? if that's the case, final mix might not show clipping until values actually go over zero... fwiw, Using classic master limiter or buz maxi in the same set up never shows clipping.

Neither the finalmix plug, not tracktions meters show a value greater than '0'. However both have clip led's. Final mix Led not lighting, Trackions are.

sorted! my fault. the master pan was not in the center.. just a bit of!

Anyway, level metering is much more complex than it would seem: it is quite usual for one meter to register a digital over while another says all is ok.. if you want really accurate metering grab Inspector (check the quick links, top right)
