I have an embarrassingly basic question.

I've been using Tracktion for quite some time now and have many projects completed/on the go. Usually I create a new folder for each project and start off from scratch with a clean slate. It's not obvious to me what's the simplest way to have a blank project set up and just open it and 'save as' my new projects name

What is the cleanest way to achieve this? :?

Steve

templates youre talking about.. I dont think Tracktion has this feature yet... you could make a blank edit... and then make copies of it whenever you want to start a new project.. but all audio recordings would go to the same folder then... however, after you are through with the session you could export a trackarchive and sort things out...

Hmmm, sounds complicated :?

Would templates be difficult to implement in T2 :?:

In many ways, project templates are possibly T2's most missed feature. All that is needed is a simple button that creates a duplicate of a selected library project. In one stroke you've provided support for a whole load of other features, such as default automation mappings for MIDI controllers, pre-configured send/return runs, and multi outs, etc.

So much gain, so little work...

I'm hoping they will be added soon.

I feel relieved that it wasn't just my ignorance :)

Thanks Valley :D
