Does anybody use Tracktion with FX-MAC GIGA VST adapter?

I don't know whether is it bug or something else, but in Tracktion I can use only two GIGA ports out of available 8.
FX-MAX is very practical way to use GIGA Studio as VST instrument and such limitation is bad news for me.
Any different experience on above?

have you wrapped your vsti to be a multi instrument??

if you here nothing when selecting any other output appart from 1&2 then this is most proberly the problem!

GIGA VST Adapter (GVA) has 8 MIDI ports (as 8 VST instruments) it means there is no problem with outputs.
When I use MIDI Port 1 than MIDI track is just tranfered (via GVA) to GIGA Studio and stereo signal is returned back to Tracktion in same manner as any VSTi.
Absolutely same with MIDI Port 2, so theoretically all 8 MIDI ports should work this way, as there are no apparent reason to limit it to only 2 ports.
Each MIDI port is actually different VST instrument for Tracktion and separately configurable.
So, no reason to wrap particular GVA VSTi (1-8) as multi instrument due to fact that it is not multi instrument, but just MIDI bridge for usual 2 channel sound source.
If you have GS and GVA than you know what I am talking about.

I don't have GIGA, but I'll do my best anyway..

Just to check I have this straight: each of your parts is a seperate track, each feeding a VST which transfers MIDI to Giga, and returns audio.. correct?

You say the first works, but the rest don't?

Could this be a simple MIDI channel issue? (MIDI Channel is set per clip in Tracktion, in case you weren't aware.)

Is it possible that all 8 audio outputs live on the first VSTi? (This might make more sense with a host like Cubase, or if using multi-channel surround patches) Try dropping the GIGA plugs into a rack, as the outputs will all be visible..

Above is correct.

But than each VST has its own path (of course MIDI channels etc.) to and from GIGA. Only problem is that first two out of eight function as expected and last six do not (under equal circumstances). Even if VST for MIDI Port 2 that works correctly is replaced with VST for MIDI port 3 this track does not send MIDI signal to GIGA.
Also, no reason for that found in GIGA itself.

Is it possible that I am only Tracktioner who uses GIGA???
Frankly speaking GIGA with Samplitude works much worse (crashes, what never happened with Tracktion), so I'll put efforts to find workable solution with Tracktion.

Anyway thanks.

Demo for GIGA VST Adapter:
http://www.fx-max.com/gva/setup/GVASetup.exe

GIGA Studio not available as demo, but they have affordable basic version that is still very capable.

Do you mean the $199 "solo" version? Thats a lot of money to spend on software i don't need, just to help a stranger on a forum.. ;)

I don't suppose that adapter will do anything on its own will it?
