I'd really like to see a fold function for the midi editor similar to ableton lives midi editor. The way live has it implemented is when you press the fold button in the midi editor, all the keys in the piano roll that aren't in use are hidden. This makes drum programing a lot easier and saves a lot of screen space.

i would also like to be able to hide notes that do not fit a certain scale..

I'd like to see support for Harry Partch inspired vstis with an option for 43 note octaves.

never used it but it sounds well cool!!
