So i saw the videos where you demo-ed EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold from a remote system. TONS of people will want this over at the Northern Sounds forum, including ME! I am convinced that this is what I nedd, but is EWQLSO already available for receptor? I own silver and gold, how would I go about getting the version for receptor?
..also, we all know these symphonic libraries are quite HUGE and taxing on the system... SO I was looking for the actual specs of Receptor, but can't seem to find them anywhere officially. Is there a link, where I can find, how much hard drive space is available?...how much RAM? The speeds of the processor, HD, and RAM?...what exactly ships in the box (as far as hardware)?
sorry if i am being ignorant, but i really tried to find these answers, hopefully someone can help me out.
Thanks so much...this looks like an amazing product.

ok, i apologize again for my ignorance. I have been directed to some answers (in the User Manual) on the Muse website.
Says receptor ships with a 40 gig hard drive (what speed?), and a 256mb stick of ram @ PC2700 (expandable to 2gb).
ok...
"In answer to the big question, the processor at the heart of the Receptor is an AMD Athlon 2500+. Muse don't like to dwell on this fact, which is fair enough: as we'll see, the fact that the Receptor is a computer is irrelevant most of the time. The main board also harbours a 40GB hard drive, which stores plug-ins, samples, patches and so on, and 256MB of RAM. The user can up the RAM capacity to 2GB, and some form of increase would benefit all users, especially if sample-based VSTis are on the agenda. Incidentally, RAM can be increased to 1256MB without removing the supplied 256MB module — just pop a 1GB module into the spare slot."

Hi,
The above specs are accurate BUT.....you can load up to 2GB of RAM in the machine by popping out the module it ships with, and hard drive upgrades are also possible. I'm putting a 160GB hard drive in mine. Note, that you need assistance from the company to do this. Not for the physical install, but to initialize the drive.
