FR: Filter development tools

Wouldn't it be cool if there were some sort of way for the user community to make 'native' T filters, ie. give UI feedback inside the icon? Then you could make an analyzer filter that could replace the level meters on a track, giving you more (different) info without having to click the plugin. It would open up T's UI to more user customization. For instance, mini mixer plugs that can be used in submixers inside racks, or groove template filters that could be placed on a track and tweaked in real time (and automated too).

I figured 'SDK' (software development kit) wasn't a common term and changed the thread title.
