I can not continue holding my breath after the last news watching Brian showing EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold. So I here I am asking for something that perhaps there is no answer right now, but who knows.

1. Can I assume that even Brian only show EWQL SO Gold, as an user of EWQL SO Platinum, may I expect this last one will work too?

2. Is there an estimation about when I can use it on Receptor?

3. I have updated my Receptor to the latest and greatest relase of it (1.2) without any kind of problem and I feel very happy using Receptor every day but I continue founding an issue when I start it. If I have my USB La Cie Big Disk on when I power on Receptor, I am not able to use it because Receptor hangs. Are you aware of this? There is no problem about to connect later but not at the same time. Tha annoying cames because La Cie automatically starts when detect some kind of activity on USB.

We did not try it, and until we do we cannot guarantee anything. But, I also suspect it would work.

We do not have a release date. Again I cannot promise anything at this time, but I hope EWQL SO Gold will be released in the June-July timeframe. We never discussed EWQL SO Platinum, but now that you brought it to our attention we will consider it.

What are the hard drive space requirements for EWQL SO Platinum?

We are aware that USB right now is a little touchy. I'm not absolutely sure, but I think that it is not just La Cie, but any USB drive - it has to be connected after Receptor boots. Rick (MaxReverb) might know more on this issue.

You must connect a USB hard drive to Receptor after it is booted or it will prevent it from booting, this is a known issue.

Right now is almost 70 GB but in the short near future the new release is about twice (140 GB). This was the reason for not upgrade the Receptor's HD but to order a 500 GB La Cie Big Disk.
