Inserting a bar or two...

Is it possible to insert a couple of bars in the middle of a song. I want to add another section and I know that it is fairly easy to drag and drop but I have a number of time signature changes and it seems it would be easier if I could just insert some extra bars...

Mark the start & length of the desired region with the In and Out markers. Then select all tracks. Now you should see in the track options a red button called "insert into tracks" with a subitem "insert space in the marked region".
But I don't know, how it affects tempo changes and automation...

in T1 neither Tempo or Automation are moved.
In T2 automation curves are moved, but I don't tempo chnages are.
