Hi There,
Im trying to figure out the Tracktion 2 demo as i would like to switch from Cubase to something that i could use 50% of its futures rather than 5% !
Im struggling to understand how i can rewire fl studio in tracktion in a similar way i do with cubase.
What i do is that i use fl studio only for drums.
I load 29 sampler channels with various one shot samples and then i layer them using a Layer channel so i can have all the samples in a single piano roll window.
I then assign the samples to 6 different mixer slots in the fl mixer and then they are routed to the cubase mixer by enabling 6 pairs of rewire channels in the cubase fl studio rewire menu.
when i want to use a controller keyboard for the drums i add a midi track in cubase in which i select the following:
in:SB Audigy 2 MIDI IO 2
out:FL Studio Kick (the first channel in fl)
chn: 1
bank: off
prg:30(the layer channel is the 30th in fl)
Can i do all these in trackion in the same or in another way?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...

Tracktions equivalent to enabling a re-wire channel would be to drag a rewire filter onto a track, and choose the relevant re-wire buss.. so try adding 6 of them.
I don't use re-wire myself however, probably someone else can help more.

Hey its u again!
by doing this wouldnt it be like opening 6 instances of FL?
I tried the wrap this in a new rack option but the is only one left and one right output.

No, just like enabling 6 stereo rewire channels to a single instance of FL.Antonis wrote:by doing this wouldnt it be like opening 6 instances of FL?
I thnk that would be the way to go if you ran FL as a VSTi.. I don't use FL either however.Antonis wrote: I tried the wrap this in a new rack option but the is only one left and one right output.

OK i figured it out and made it work...BUT there are constant drop outs. Its a now u hear it, now u dont thing.
So i tried the vsti way and playback was fine...BUT when i press play in T the cursor in FL doesnt move and when i press play in FL itself NOTHING happens,no sound no movement.
Is this a T bug or an FL bug?
Anyone?
