updates and bugfixes ?

i was kind of hoping the developement has stepped forward in the time since the first t2 demo til now? we know that there are some serious bugs in t2 but they put exactly this version for fullversion download. seems like contracts and stuff had made the delay?!
will there be regular updates and fixes now and why not in the release version ? don't want to sound rude, it just makes me wonder.
