its very, very annoying trying to make small movements of a clips position. when you grab a clip to move it, you have to move the mouse a certain amount before the clip will budge. the initial movement starts with a jump before you can make any precise adjustments.

Tracktion handles snap in a very clever way. The snap value is relative to the zoom level. So if you want to make fine adjustments just zoom in do desired level real quick, make that adjustment, and zoom back out. Luckily theres also a lot of ways of zooming in and out (my favorite being the mouse wheel). Once you get used to the commands and the overall flow, you'll never go back to the old way. :)

im talking about movements w snap off. try grabbing a clip and adjusting the position by a small amount. the clip's movement doesn't register until you've moved the mouse by a certain amount, and the clip jumps before you can move it precisely.

I guess I never noticed it becuase I always zoom in when I want to make fine adjustments. Try click dragging on the last number box in the "start", the last number box is the highest resolution. Hope that helps.
