I would like to know what kind of CPU Receptor runs; is it upgradable;
is the Hard drive upgreadable;
could I buy only the Receptors OS and build a dummie PC to run it? That would be nice?

Athlon 2500

It is possible to use an Athlon 3000, but that is something we can only do at Muse.

You can special order a Receptor with a bigger hard drive. Usually, we manufacture Receptors with a 160 GB drive on special orders.

No. The software is written specifically for our hardware and does not run on anything else.

You can email or call us directly if you are interested in a special order with a bigger hard drive. We never built a special order Receptor with a different CPU, and I don't even know if it's feasible. But, if you email or call we'll do our best to offer you something that would work for you.
