Hi, I don't know what happenend. I had it working correctly with a crossover cable one day and bam! it stopped.No matter what I try,I can't seem to get it to work.

Is there a better way to connect to my computer? Thanks in advance.

If you have a local area network, like a router connected to the Internet, and one or more computers connected to the router, the best way is to use DHCP. It is explained in the manual.

If you have just the computer and Receptor, then the only way is to use a crossover cable. Do you have a Mac or a PC?
