i'm sorry that i'm really busy with a lot of uni work at the moment, and my tool for controller mapping isn't as important as my assignments
it's not too far from completion, but i've a solid few weeks of assignments and exams so i have to reprioritise at the moment
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Come on Ron. Information. What are you trying to do? MMC? Map a continuours controller? How are you using Midi Ox and Midi Yoke (they shouldn't be need as far as I can guess)?

im trying to control transport and was hoping maybe i could have my mixer track bank working. In adobe audition, it works perfectly with us428. Here's how it does work. my track bank on tascam us428 can go up to 128 different tracks per fader. I would like that to be enabled so i could assign faders to any volume fader. Also, it works with panning as well. If i could get my tascam us428 working, it would be awesome. However, it looks like im stuck using half assed workarounds, which arent even working right now. Converting a button press to operating mmc transport... etc. It's not even working. Didn't they create this control interface in a modular way? Can't someone develop multiple interfaces to work with tracktion?

How are you controlling audition? Does your interface emulate a mackie control? Or is there direct support for it? Or have you mapped indivudual parameters your self?

no audition automatically has support built in for us428. there is direct support for it. It has a similar menu to stuff like that, like : mackie control, tascam us428. I mean look, sure mackie is enemies with tascam but still you should offer support. I mean even cubase, gigastudio, nuendo, and many many other programs support us428's control surface.

check out "control protocol" stuff like that. I just can't figure it out. I hope they will develop a way i can use it
I mean it even has 4 eq settings that we could possibly "attatch" to the EQ plugin

ron, as a fellow human being, if i were you, i wouldn't ask another question in this forum. these people obviously don't respect you.
i recommend you just call mackie tech support from now on...there, you will find willing and patient help.
it's where i go. and i dont have to hem and haw to get an intelligent solution. usually a three minute call.

*bump* any updates on info beno?
btw i didnt see what you said right i meant to say that yes it doesnt have a hardware emulator, that it in itself is a control setup that ibelieve should be included in support.
ThxRoNC

As of now, Tracktion 2 only supports the Mackie Control and C4. If your hardware can emulate the mackie control, then you can use it (the Behringers being a good example). Otherwise you will have to use something like MidiOx with custom parameter maps to accomplish a somewhat similar task.
