are you using a mac or pc?

check the logfile (I think it is in the temp directory inside the Tracktion directory). Usually the lopgfile shows where tracktion died whilst trying to open.

Post the last part of the log here if you are having trouble making sense of it.

i using a PC im running up stairs to check the log now

there is no log file or folder marked temp as tracktion 1 had. im assuming that it has to load up once to make that folder and log file.

:?:

I just checked my T2 install - you are absolutely right, there is no log .

Give me a few to check if it in the windows logs...

yup - Mod's correct.

Good to see Jules finally fixed that one.

Sounds like what happens when you try to run T2 on 98SE/ME. If so, then you've just been Unicoded. And T2 will not work. Until Jule's makes some tweaks to T2. XP/2K only for the moment. If you have XP/2K then, oh dear, read the logs as suggested above.

shitty it wont werk on ME i now i need to get a whole new comp ( mine is approaching 5 years old) i planned using some of the money i got from my releases for a new comp.

what spec is the machine? You may be able to get win2k running OK on it if you have 256MB of RAM and a 1Ghz or higher processor.

Bugger about the unicode problem though. :(

Blame M$. Millennia Edition. You kind of expect it would be an OS that would last a thousand years....

ME was a pile of crap. None of the maturity of 98SE, and almost none of the improvements of the Win2k model.

I recognise that from a product line POV, MS had to release something for the home user, but ughh, what a dog.
