Never ending notes!

got a weird problem where when I press 'stop' current notes playing just go on forever! The pad sound I was using did have a long release time but this hanging note just goes on & on! I can only stop it by disabling the soft synth.

Its a 'stuck note' .. its a problem that happens with any MIDI synth when it recieves a note-on, but for some reason never recieves the note-off, Try playing the same note thats sounding (ie: supply another note-off)

Another way is to hit the sustain pedal if you have one. If you were using a sustain pedal, you can also insert a sustain pedal off message on the clip if it's constantly the same note.

I've had the odd stuck note, too. It would be nice to have a Panic button in the next update.

Sometimes just placing a note on the MIDI editor or moving a note about is enough to trigger stuck notes.

I'm sure it'll be fixed sooner or later. Apparently there is a Panic button somewhere in settings, but a tracker-esque PANIC!!!1 button on the GUI would be nice.

For hard synths, maybe it's possible to create a VST plugin that we can add on the master channel : a button that sends a note off message to all midi channels when triggered.

I am experiencing the same problem. It would be great if Daniel or someone else who can make VST's could develop such a tool (for the master channel), it would be handy.

It's a shame you don't simply send a note-Off to the synth when the MIDI event ends! Wouldn't that make more sense?
