Tracktion 1.0 problem

Hey hey

I got the excellent free version of 1.0 last year and I've been happy using it on Mac OS X 10.2 up to 10.3. Recently, I upgraded to Tiger and then had to update the firewire console for my MOTU 828 MKII. Since then, Tracktion does not output thru the MOTU. I think it still works with the built-in audio and levels register within Tracktion and the MOTU console but there is no sound.
Is there a workaround other than upgrading to Tracktion 2? Has anybody else experienced this?
Any advice would be great.
