RM IV is cool!

I just got more time with RM IV on a friend's box with Tracktion (he has the regular non-bundle RM IV) and the midi loops are great! It works really nicely and now I'm thinking I'll keep an eye out for an upgrade path for online updaters. I have Battery 1 but RM IV has a better UI IMO and is easier to mix drums directly in the interface, making a mixer less necessary. Compression directly in the plug is cool. RM IV's drum loops takes the edge off the less than spectacular timestretch in T, and really gives you a good basis to start songs with. It's even better than using loops since you can customize the midi.

If you like MIDI drum loops, keep checking back. I have "a few" almost ready for download. I'll be posting soon. By the way, what kind of styles would YOU like to see?

These are for use within RM IV? Since I don't own it I'd have a hard time using them. I just like having all the basics covered, blues, rock, jazz, progrock, world.koolkeys wrote:If you like MIDI drum loops, keep checking back. I have "a few" almost ready for download. No, they're standard MIDI drum loops, so everyone can use them. I need some good world music examples to listen to. Any suggestions?

I can do that. Are the kits you have still mapped to general MIDI. If so, I'll make sure to add more of these loops that are made for general MIDI, as that is the easiest way to keep things straight. I still need some world samples if possible.

I can't program drums to save my life and I really REALLY want/need to get my hands on a few acid jazzy kinda down tempo loops
Just a couple of real down tempo kick/snare/ride or hi hat loops to get me stared would be a god send!

I did the download upgrade for now, I'm not sure if I'll be able to spare the money for the boxed version. We're trying to move right now and rent in SoCal is just insane
